Frequently asked questions
What happens if the internet goes down?
The house keeps working: lights, air conditioning, security, scenes and voice commands for the house run on the hub inside the villa. Only cloud features pause — open questions, weather and remote access.
Which languages does the assistant speak?
English and Russian — both the interface and the voice. Commands are understood in both languages at once, so people who speak different languages can live in the same house.
Do videos and conversations go to the cloud?
Camera video is recorded on the hub in the house and stays there. When the internet is available, voice commands are recognised by a cloud service for speed; you can switch this off and everything is recognised inside the house. Open questions to the assistant are answered by cloud AI.
Can I use my existing devices?
Often, yes: the hub works with thousands of devices through Home Assistant — Zigbee, Wi‑Fi, popular air conditioners, inverters and cameras. We'll check at the meeting.
How does it work for rentals?
The hub reads bookings from Airbnb and Booking.com calendars, gives the guest QR access until check-out to comfort only — lights, climate, curtains and music — and calculates the electricity used during the stay.
Is there a monthly fee?
The house works without one. The optional El'Dar Cloud subscription — cloud AI assistant, remote access, updates and backups — starts at 390 THB per month.
Can I extend the system later?
Yes. New rooms, cameras, sensors and curtains can be added at any time — the hub finds the devices and shows them on the panel.
